Concours Mondial de Bruxelles – The United Nations of Fine Wines

From 5th to 7th May, the city of Valladolid (Spain) hosted the 24th edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, an event that promotes the best global wine production.
After the dense and strict tastings of 9,080 wines (1,363 were from Italy), our Barbera d’Asti D.O.C.G. Superior Mysterium 2014 and our Monferrato D.O.C. Nymphae 2016, obtained by the blend of Timorasso and Sauvignon grapes, obtained a Silver medal.
Good placements also for our Barbera d’Asti D.O.C.G. Austerum 2015 and Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato D.O.C. with, respectively, 84,64/100 and 81,18/100 points.
The competition, inspected by officials from the Belgian Federal Public Service Economy,
boasts reputable judges, internationally renowned for their ability to assess wine in blind tastings.
